This weekend is gonna be packed with fights, with all the hype surrounding the first prime time EliteXc card on the CBS network and of course the fights on HDnet when am I gonna have enough time to sleep? Well who needs sleep when there is all those fights to be watched. OKay it’s almost time so here are my quick picks for saturdays card. Scott Smith vs Robbie Lawler, I’m kind of torn on this one, but for right now I’m taken Lawler by tko. Baroni vs Villsenor, I want to say Baroni because he really needs a win right now, but I gonna a feeling if it goes to a decision I would have to choose Villasenor. Carano vs. Young…thats right the ladies are mixing it up, Carano didn’t make weight but Young agreed to fight anyway, in this fight I like Carano. Kimbo Vs Thompson…hhhmmm I gonna say Kimbo, come on don’t act like you don’t know why okay! As far as I’m concerned 2008 has not been the best year for Ufc fight cards. Actually I’ve had better luck with the free fights on HDnet. That was until last saturdays UFC ill will! So far it’s the best of 2008. I look forward to the Silvia vs. Fedor fight, there were no real suprises in last saturdays fight other than the Gouveia bout. One a scale of one to ten, ten being the highest, I will give this fightcard a 8.5. Was it worth the 45 bucks I shelled out for it? Yes!
